We will be going step by step through this cute crochet pattern with clear photos and instructions .
The pattern contains 20 pages of description of crocheting process with photos and description of cap. You must know how to crochet basic stitches. The pattern difficulty – medium . Toy pieces are crocheted in a spiral (unless otherwise specified). The legs and the body are crocheted as one piece. Finished toy measures 18 cm (7.09 inches) approximately in case of using materials listed (without a cap). In this pattern we use US terminology.
Materials needed:
1. Yarn:
YarnArt Jeans (160 m/50 g)
- color 28 (black) 1 skein
- color 03 (cream) for head
- color 84 (saffron) for beak, feet, cap
Can be substituted with any Fingering yarn with the same meterage.
Any yarn for knitting a scarf.
2. Crochet hook (I use 1.75 (US 4))
3. Toy stuffing (sintepon, holofiber)
4. Eyes (I use 6 mm sew-on half-beads)
5. Needle, stitch marker, scissors.
6. 2 straight knitting needles
7. Blush (I use a beauty blush.)
8. Bell for cap
